US
Compared to most other higher education systems around the world, the U.S. system is largely independent from federal government regulation and is highly decentralized. A US master’s degree usually takes 2–3 years to complete, but fast-track 1 year programs are available for some degrees. U.S. universities and colleges usually base their admissions decisions on a student’s academic record and applicable test scores, such as TOEFL, the SAT or ACT. If you are applying to graduate schools, additional exam scores, such as the GRE or GMAT, will be required.

Canada

It was established by the Australian Government to monitor quality, and regulate university and non-university higher education providers against a set of standards developed by the independent Higher Education Standards Panel. The average tuition fees at one of Australia’s tertiary institutions ranges between AUD$20,000 and AUD$30,000 a year.
